Safety Officer

Role & responsibilities:

• Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for each job activity.
• Training Program conducted on Industrial Safety, EHS Awareness, Use of PPEs and Use of emergency exit.
• Monitoring Daily Tool Box Meeting for safe work practices. Close co-ordination with site In-charge for safe working to achieve zero accident.
• Check and evaluate the effectiveness of action taken to prevent of personal injuries.
• Increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the company.
• Carry out plant safety inspection and observe the physical conditions of work practices, reporting on all injuries and accidents if any.
• Carrying out safety inspections, audit, Conducting fire drills & safety guidelines.
• Carry out daily site inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
• Candidates must have prior experience with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).
• B.E. / B.Tech Degree in Mechanical from a recognized Institute.
