Job Description::

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Desktop Support Associate to join our IT support team. As a fresher in the desktop support role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting users with technical problems, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems. This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in IT support and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other hardware devices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network-related issues for end users.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems (e.g., Windows, macOS).
• Assist users in resolving issues related to network connectivity, email setup, and peripheral devices.
• Perform hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed.
• Document all issues, resolutions, and service requests in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with senior IT team members to handle complex technical issues.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides.
• Ensure security compliance by enforcing antivirus and other security protocols.
• Provide remote and on-site support for employees.
• Participate in regular maintenance activities, including system updates and patches.
• Flexible to work both day and night shifts

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and diagnostic tools for hardware and software issues.
• Proficient in handling the day-to-day asset transaction and Site inventory.
• Good understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP configuration, LAN/WAN).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
• Eagerness to learn and grow within the IT support field, Should be a Team Player, understand the team dynamic, and work with the team
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, MS Office, and ticketing systems is a plus (but not mandatory).
