System/Network Programming Developer (5-8 yrs)

Seeking a proficient System/Network Programming Developer with a robust background in network protocols and encryption standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with layers 2 and 3 of the OSI model, expertise in WireGuard, and a solid understanding of IPsec and Advanced Encryption Standard (AES).

This role involves enhancing existing encryption solutions while ensuring compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and supporting healthcare data interoperability initiatives.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain secure communication systems, focusing on network protocols and encryption.

- Enhance existing encryption solutions, including WireGuard, IPsec, and AES, to meet evolving security requirements.

- Ensure compliance with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Contribute to the development of secure and interoperable solutions for healthcare data exchange, aligning with standards like SMART FHIR and TEFCA.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., security, healthcare, product) to define and implement security best practices.

- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to network connectivity, security, and data integrity.

- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in network security, cryptography, and healthcare data exchange standards.

- Contribute to the development of secure identity management solutions.

Technical Expertise :

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in system/network programming at OSI Layers 2 and 3.

- Advanced knowledge of WireGuard protocol for secure virtual networking.

- Deep understanding of IPsec, AES encryption, and encryption protocols for data in transit.

- Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and its application in secure software development.

- Experience in designing and implementation of Identity Management Solutions.

Programming Skills :

- Proficient in one or more system-level programming languages (e., C, C++, Go, Rust, or Python).

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization skills.

- Healthcare Standards Knowledge

- Familiarity with SMART FHIR and TEFCA frameworks, and their role in healthcare data interoperability.

- Experience with healthcare data exchange standards and compliance frameworks (e., HIPAA).
