Role Description :
This is a contract role for an Embedded Hardware Engineer based in Bangalore Urban district.
The Embedded Hardware Engineer will be responsible for hardware development, circuit design, and electronics hardware design.
The role involves working on computer hardware projects and collaborating closely with the technical team on-site.
Role & Responsibilities :
- B.Tech./ M. Tech./ Ph.in Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience as hardware design engineer in an IoT/embedded hardware product development domain such as design/development of VCU/Instrument clusters/HMI systems/Cloud connectivity modules/IoT devices.
- Fair understanding of MCU/uP architectures including 8-,16and 32-bit processors/controllers, SoC and SoM, Memory, RF, high-speed digital design & analog Circuits.
- Strong knowledge in interface designs with various serial communication protocols such as UART, CAN, I2C, SPI & USB.
- Hands-on experience in designing signal conditioning circuits with peripherals ADC, PWM/Timer, & GPIO on a variety of HW platforms & devices.
- Working knowledge of RF/PMIC & SPICE/SIMULINK/PSIM circuit simulation for high speed digital design.
- Exposure to the design of the load switches, solenoid drivers & LED drivers.
- Knowledge of the Physical layer design for RF communications such as 3G/4G/LTE/5G, WiFi, GNSS & BLE.
- Understanding of antenna operation and performance specifications & expertise in designing impedance matching circuits/PCB design constraints.
- Fair understanding of high-speed interface design characterization techniques such as eye-diagrams & VNA (for RF).
- Proven experience in carrying out high-speed signal integrity measurements on PCB design for high-speed & RF applications.
- Familiarity of firmware architecture, flow charts & state diagrams, thermal management & EMI/EMC standards.
- Working knowledge of LVDS/MIPI display interface standards.
- Exposure to embedded hardware development in a structured environment encompassing utilization ofrevision control, issue tracking, profilers & debugging tools.
- Hands-on experience in usage of test and verification tools/equipment including but not limited to MSO, DMM, Spectrum/Vector Network/Protocol/Logic analyzers, & Debuggers.
- Very good Problem-solving, documentation & communication skills.
