Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer (2-3 yrs)

Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical mentorship and coaching to teammates, fostering a collaborative learning environment.

- Guide the team towards successful project delivery by setting clear goals and expectations.

- Establish best practices and habits to maintain high software quality standards.

Full Development Lifecycle :

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, architects) on planning, designing, developing, testing, and maintaining embedded firmware for medical devices.

- Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements, creating user stories, and developing estimates.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Problem-Solving :

- Analyze and resolve complex technical and application problems efficiently.

Project Management :

- Deliver solutions on time and within budget while adhering to high-quality development principles.

Essential Skills :

Medical Devices : Proven experience in developing firmware for medical devices, understanding of regulatory requirements and safety protocols.

Firmware Development : Extensive knowledge of embedded systems, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and microcontroller programming (e.g C/C++).

Cloud : Familiarity with cloud integration for medical devices is a plus.

Cybersecurity : Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles as applied to medical devices.

Communication Protocols : Expertise in communication protocols commonly used in medical devices.

Bonus Points :

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong understanding of medical device industry trends
