Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for automotive electronics materials aligned with the companys NPD (New Product Development) goals.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, delivery, and innovation requirements.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing, delivery, and service levels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to drive continuous improvement in quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary to address issues and improve overall supplier performance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to understand material requirements and specifications.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with overall project timelines and objectives.
Provide timely updates and reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings initiatives to senior management.
Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes that may impact materials sourcing and procurement strategies
Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, supplier consolidation, and negotiation strategies without compromising quality or reliability.
Optimize inventory levels and lead times to support production schedules and minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
Promote sustainability initiatives and ethical sourcing practices within the supply chain.

Technical Details
Bachelor s degree in engineering (Electronics), supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
With 15 Years to 20 Years of experience in Automotive (Tier 1) industries.
Proven experience (13+ Years) in procurement and sourcing of electronics components within the automotive industry, ideally within an NPD environment.
Strong knowledge of electronic components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective procurement strategies.
Solid understanding of supply chain management principles, logistics, and inventory management.
Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software tools.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) a plus
