Job Description: Regional Sales Head (South)
- We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Head (North) with a proven background in sales and a comprehensive knowledge of lab machinery to lead our sales efforts in the northern region.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing regional sales strategies, growing revenue, and guiding the northern sales team to meet its goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute sales strategies to meet regional sales targets and increase market presence in the northern region.
- Lead, guide, and manage the northern sales team to align with overall company sales objectives and targets.
- Supervise outbound calls and customer engagement efforts to create new business opportunities in the region.
- Provide technical support to customers and handle inquiries related to lab machinery.
- Collaborate with the sales team to manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and lead management.
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to key clients in the northern region.
- Track and assess the region's sales performance, making necessary adjustments to meet revenue targets.
- Assist in creating sales proposals, quotations, and contracts for significant clients.
- Ensure thorough knowledge of lab machinery, including features, benefits, and technical details.
- Build and strengthen relationships with major clients, addressing their needs and providing excellent customer service.
- Work with internal teams (production, service, and marketing) to streamline regional processes and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role with a successful track record in managing sales teams.
- Ability to explain technical concepts related to lab machinery to clients.
- Strong results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated history of achieving regional sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and motivate the team.
- Fluent in the local dialect and highly motived and mobile.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B sales or within the lab equipment sector.
- Technical background in machinery, engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience managing regional sales targets, especially in the southern region.
- A Diploma/ Degree in Instrumentation or Mechanical or Electromechanical fields would be an added advantage
