Financial Accountant

This is a contract position with a duration of 1 year.

What You ll Be Doing:

This role will be responsible for assisting in the completion and reconciliation of accounts monthly, and to provide support to the finance team to achieve business objectives.

• A Financial Accountant is responsible for running the accounting and financial activities for Premier Research.
• Producing monthly management accounts according to US GAAP.
• Providing transactional detail to in country accountants to produce their local statutory accounts.
• Taking care of the accounting aspects of several legal entities within Premier Research Group.
• Preparing the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
• Tax compliance.
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts, statutory accounts, and audits
• Applies accounting knowledge and techniques to all areas of work, including the production of journals, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

What we are looking for:

• A degree and experience in the financial field, a recognized professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA) would be desirable.
• Prior experience using computerized information systems preferred.
• Works with internal and external customers/vendors to meet project specific goals.
• Experience in dealing with local tax authorities.
• 2-5 years in US GAAP mandatory
