Key skills for the job
- Finding, vetting, and concluding new strategic business agreements with potential clients.
- In charge of meeting predetermined sales targets and developing and carrying out thorough sales plans that walk a potential client through the whole sales cycle.
- Encourage the creation and implementation of leads
- Work with internal engineering and product teams to support (a) contracting, (b) closure, (c) suctioning, and (d) product strategy.
- Make the most of in-person meetings with potential customers to seal deals.
- Proven sales experience with payment gateways
- Extensive experience selling to large and medium-sized e-commerce businesses
- Solid understanding of consumer payments, various payment methods, and the e-commerce payments environment; and the ability to participate in technical and business-level discussions at various levels, including CXO, Head of Payments, Head of Products, and Technical Staff
