Role : AS400 / RPG Developer.

Work Location : Permanent Remote.

Working Days : 5 Days.

Joining : Immediate to 30 days.

Work timings : 1-10PM.

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Program Development : Develop, maintain, and enhance RPG/ILE programs to meet evolving business requirements.

- Problem Solving : Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to RPG programs and system processes.

- Database Management : Work with DB2 databases, SQL, and DDM to manage and optimize data.

- System Integration : Integrate AS/400 systems with other systems using technologies like XML, FTP, SFTP, and Web Services.

- Performance Tuning : Analyze and optimize the performance of RPG programs and database queries.

- Documentation : Create clear and concise documentation for programs, processes, and system configurations.

- Collaboration : Work closely with business analysts, system analysts, and other team members to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Strong proficiency in RPG/400, ILE/RPG, RPG Free, CL, DDS, and SQL.

- In-depth knowledge of AS/400 architecture, operating systems, and system utilities.

- Experience with DB2 database, DDM, and SQL.

- Understanding of XML, FTP, SFTP, and Web Services.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part ofa team.
