Job Description

As a member of Pratham s Northeast team, you will work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Pratham leadership team in Assam, potential donors, representatives from local organizations, and district and state government officials. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Pratham s expansion in the Northeast. Your responsibilities will include

Creating proposals and concept notes for potential and existing partnerships with donors, local organizations, and government entities.

Coordinating donor management for those supporting work in the Northeast, including preparing regular progress reports on project developments.

Engaging in periodic discussions with donors regarding program updates and future planning.

Traveling extensively across the Northeast to build a network with like-minded organizations and local governments.

Tracking implementation closely with the program team and providing regular updates to leadership on progress, insights, opportunities, and areas needing course correction.

Managing knowledge and documenting the implementation of work across various states.

Facilitating discussions and brainstorming sessions on potential partnerships.

Understanding the external landscape and ensuring its alignment with existing program structures.

Desired Qualifications and Experience

At least 2-3 years of work experience, preferably in a non-profit organization, management consulting, or with government systems.

A Master s degree or equivalent in Development Studies, International Development, or related disciplines is preferred. Candidates with a background in Management or Economics are also encouraged to apply.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Highly proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.

Ability to take ownership of work streams and manage them from start to finish.

Capability to work with diverse stakeholder groups in a fast-paced environment.

Comfort with ambiguity and shifting priorities.

Willingness to commit to at least 2-3 years with Pratham
