The Program In-Charge will lead the implementation of the Hamara Gaon Program in the West Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya. This role presents an opportunity to expand Pratham s work in the state. The Program In-Charge will supervise a team of 6-8 individuals and oversee the overall execution of the project in West Khasi Hills.
The responsibilities of the Program In-Charge include interacting and collaborating with district, block, and cluster officials as well as teachers, and community members. The role requires a dual focus supporting on-ground planning and implementation, while also coordinating with a variety of stakeholders, including the Northeast team.
Role Responsibilities
Serve as a crucial link between teams working on the program, including the field team and the regional leadership team.
Share updates with officials at the block, district and state levels.
Assist with planning and coordination of program-related activities
Ensure that the Hamara Gaon activities are being executed in a timely manner
Plan trainings in close collaboration with the State Content and Training Associates, as well as the State MME, and oversee the required logistics.
Travel to project locations to understand implementation challenges and provide troubleshooting and course corrections as needed.
Keep all relevant team members apprised of the latest developments, and call and moderate meetings when necessary.
Ensure that data is being entered on a timely manner.
Analyse program-related data and make informed program decisions accordingly.
Document all key activities at the field level.
Act as a Master Trainer for all key trainings.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 1 2 years of work experience.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English, Khasi, and Hindi.
Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.
The selected candidate will work from Mawshynrut block in West Khasi Hills.
