Production Line Worker

Role & responsibilities

• Operating machinery: Food production workers operate and maintain machines and equipment like ovens, slicers, grinders, conveyors, and sealers. You will also prepare machines for use.
• Monitoring quality: Food production workers monitor the quality of the product and check for imperfections in the final product. You will also check the raw materials before feeding them into the machines.
• Preparing and packing: Food production workers will weigh products, peel, slice, mix, and cook ingredients. you will also prepare and pack food and drinks for storage or shipment.
• Recording data: Food production workers may record production data and results.
• Maintaining work areas: Food production workers will clean and maintain work areas and machinery.

• Physical ability: The ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items
• Communication and teamwork: Good communication and teamwork skills
