Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Load Test Engineer to join our team. As a Load Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing load tests to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize system resources, and improve overall system efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop load tests to simulate real-world scenarios and identify performance bottlenecks
• Develop and maintain load testing scripts using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or NeoLoad
• Execute load tests, analyze results, and provide recommendations for performance improvements
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve performance issues
• Develop and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track system performance
• Participate in agile development cycles to ensure performance considerations are integrated into the development process
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in load testing and performance engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in load testing and performance engineering
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load testing, stress testing, and endurance testing
• Experience with load testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or NeoLoad
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#
• Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud-based load testing platforms such as AWS Device Farm or Google Cloud Test Lab
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins or Travis CI
• Certification in load testing or performance engineering, such as the ISTQB Foundation Level Certification
