Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled SAP MM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong knowledge of SAP MM module with experience in implementing and configuring SAP solutions, particularly focusing on integration with SAP Production Planning (PP). You will work closely with clients to optimize supply chain processes, material management, and production planning. This role demands a consultant with a proven track record in designing and delivering solutions that optimize business operations using SAP MM and its integration with other SAP modules, especially PP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Analysis & Solution Design: Analyze client business requirements and design SAP MM solutions with consideration for seamless integration with SAP PP. Ensure that the system meets the clients specific business needs.
• Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize SAP MM to meet the business requirements while ensuring smooth integration with PP. Work on MM processes like procurement, inventory management, and MRP.
• Implementation & Optimization: Implement and optimize processes for procurement-to-payment, inventory management, material requirements planning (MRP), and warehouse management.
• Integration Design: Design and configure integration points between SAP MM and PP, focusing on areas such as material reservations, goods movements, and production order management.
• Data Management: Provide expertise in material master data management, data migration, inventory valuation, physical inventory, and purchasing.
• ABAP Functional Specifications: Develop functional specifications for ABAP development teams for custom reports and interfaces between MM and other SAP modules.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct system testing (including integration testing and user acceptance testing) and troubleshoot MM-PP integration issues to provide timely resolutions.
• Training & Support: Provide end-user training and ongoing support for SAP MM functionalities, including its integration with PP.
• Full Project Lifecycle: Manage projects through the full cycle, from requirements gathering and implementation to go-live and post-implementation support.
• Continuous Improvement: Recommend best practices and custom solutions in materials management and production planning. Ensure that the processes align with client requirements and SAP standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including onsite and offshore teams, to ensure successful project outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant with a strong background in SAP MM-PP integration.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in SAP MM configuration, customization, and testing. Solid understanding of SAP MM business processes and their integration with PP and other SAP modules.
• Implementation Experience: Experience in multiple full-cycle SAP implementations and knowledge of end-to-end implementation processes.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to MM processes and integration.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and coordinate between teams.
• SAP Certification (Preferred): SAP Certification in MM module is a plus.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its impact on the MM and PP modules.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori applications related to MM and PP.
• Experience with SAP Agile Methodologies.
• Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or service management industries.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and how they apply to SAP MM and PP.
• Familiarity with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
