SAP S/4 HANA/PP Techno-Functional Consultant (5-7 yrs)

About the Job :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP S/4HANA PP Techno-Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise in ABAP development within the S/4HANA environment and functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) with a good understanding of Quality Management (QM). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions that optimize our clients' production processes and contribute to the successful delivery of SAP S/4HANA projects.

Responsibilities :

Technical Development :

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs in SAP S/4HANA, focusing on PP, QM, and related modules.

- Utilize ABAP new syntax and object-oriented programming (OO) principles.

- Design and develop Smart Forms and Adobe Forms for various business documents.

- Create and maintain Function Modules, RFCs, and BAPIs for seamless system integration.

- Develop and consume Web services and OData services.

- Utilize SAP API Hub and integrate standard APIs into custom developments.

- Build and maintain ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) views and understand SADL design and CDS view extensibility.

- Develop using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).

- Implement and maintain ABAP Unit test classes for thorough code testing.

- Perform debugging and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

- Utilize ABAP Development Tool Kit with HANA Studio or Eclipse for development.

- Perform code analysis using tools like SQL Trace, Code Inspector, and SAP ABAP Test Cockpit.

- Implement and manage enhancement techniques.

Functional Expertise :

- Provide functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP) and a good understanding of Quality Management (QM).

- Understand and analyze business requirements related to PP and QM.

- Configure and customize SAP PP and QM modules to meet business needs.

- Perform cross-module integration between PP, QM, and other relevant modules.

- Participate in functional testing and support user acceptance testing.

- Work with solution manager for change management and testing.

Project Delivery :

- Participate in all phases of SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.

- Provide technical documentation and training materials.

- Proactively identify and resolve technical and functional issues.

- Work in a hybrid work environment, coordinating remote and on-site tasks effectively.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

- Contribute to knowledge sharing and team development.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.

Required Skills :

Technical :

- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA ABAP development (3+ years).

- Experience in SAP ECC ABAP development (2+ years).

- Proficiency in ABAP new syntax, OO ABAP, CDS views, RAP, OData, and Web services.

- Experience with Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, Function Modules, RFCs, and BAPIs.

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

- Experience with analysis tools (SQL Trace, Code Inspector, ABAP Test Cockpit).

- Experience with Solution manager.

Functional :

- Strong functional knowledge of SAP Production Planning (PP) (2+ years).

- Good understanding of SAP Quality Management (QM).

- Experience in cross-module integration (PP, QM).
