Assistant Maintenance Manager

Role & responsibilities:

• Review daily job priorities & allocate resources for maintenance, utilities, etc.
• Coordinate with Production, Process Heads & other team members.
• Should have knowledge of maintenance of special-purpose machines like Shearing, Bending, Punching , Plasma cutting, Gantry crane, Goliath crane, Sawing machines, Hydraulic Presses, Hardening & Tempering Machine, CNC Machines, Lathe machines, shot blasting , Paint Shop and utility equipment (Transformer yard, DGs, Compressors, LT panel, Maint of CO2 yard, ACs Etc.).
• Must have a knowledge of PLC, automation, ABB make VFD Develop & implement maintenance systems.
• Ensure proper spare-part mapping, planning and maintenance.
• Plan and ensure the implementation of Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance.
• Perform breakdown analysis & implement corrective action. RCA/CAPA Implement and improve safety features of all equipment.
• Develop techniques to improve equipment efficiency. Ensure proper spare-part mapping, planning and maintenance.
• Should have knowledge of implementation of MMTR, MTBF practices and continuous improvement processes (Kaizen).
• Ensure compliance with statutory / legal requirements pertaining to maintenance activities.
• Identify vendors, negotiate, prepare scope for maintenance contract.
• Identify and work on energy conservation project.

Staff Management :

Manage both contract employees & permanent staff if any, Assign Monthly KRA and review the progress, Prepare budget of fixed and variable expenses of the dept.

Review the performance of maintenance contractors.

Soft skill require:

MS office, good in Excel and PPT and ERP system World Class Manufacturing / EHS Activities (Future Requirement) Gain exposure to ISO 9001:2015, 14001 & 18001 systems, Ensure preparation, documentation and implementation of different SOPs, Actively participate in driving Kaizen initiatives in the plant
