Product Manager - LAP

Role Overview:

The Product Manager - LAP will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and managing the Loan Against Property (LAP) product portfolio to drive business growth. This includes market research, process digitization, risk assessment, pricing strategy, policy formulation, and sales enablement. The role requires close collaboration with credit, risk, technology, operations, and sales teams to ensure a seamless LAP product journey and portfolio profitability.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Market visits to conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitor offerings, meeting with employees on the ground and gathering local intelligence and emerging trends in the housing finance sector.
• Evaluate the existing product portfolio to assess strengths, weaknesses, and gaps. Speaking to key stakeholders like business, risk, policy, credit, technical, operation teams.
• Develop new housing finance products tailored to specific customer segments, such as affordable housing loans, home improvement loans, or specialized loan products for peri-urban and rural markets.
• System Integrations, Launch & Trainings.
• Product Performance Management.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements governing housing finance products, such as RBI guidelines and NHB regulations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all project activities.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of LAP product lifecycle, policies, and risk assessment.
• Expertise in credit underwriting and self-employed income assessment.
• Experience in digital lending transformation & process automation.
• Data-driven mindset.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Strategic thinking with execution focus to drive business results.
