JOB DESCRIPTION FOR CUSTOMS EXAMINATION & DELIVERY

SL.#. JOB DESCRIPTION 1 Liason & Developing Rapport with Customs Officials at CFS 2 Obtaining Open Order at CFS, Opening Containers for Examination, Arranging Escort for Bonding. To Obtain OOC / LEO on the same Day of Inspection & Examination completed for both Bills of Entries & Shipping Bills. 3 To provide Advance Information to the Department Head regarding External Damage if any in Container or Cargo before Delivery, If so EIR Copy should get from CFS, Survey to be done for Damaged Container or Cargo. 4 To provide Advance Information to the Department Head if any Damage found to the Cargo (LCL) destuffed at CFS. Without Customer Confirmation the Cargo should not take delivery from CFS. 5 Pre-Delivery Survey to be done for all Flexi Containers before loading the Container in to Trailers. 6 Taking Delivery of LCL Cargos / Destuffing & Loading in to Trucks of FCL Cargo. 7 Submitting Transit Documents to Transporter such as E-Way Bill, Bill of Entry, Invoice, B/L, Packing List and COA. Vehicle should not move from CFS without this documents. 8 Proper communication & co-ordination to have regularly with all our Team Members to avoid unnecessary delays and documentation issues. 9 Any Incidental Expenses or Additional Expenses has to inform immediately and get prior approval from the department Heads. 10 Dispatch Details has to send to Department Head through Whats App such as Trailer / Truck Number, Driver Contact Number alongwith CFS / AAI & Transport Charges. 11 Follow-up with Driver till it reaches to Customer Factory / Customer Warehouse.
