JOB DESCRIPTION FOR HANDLING IMPORT SHIPMENT

SL.#. JOB DESCRIPTION 1 Co-Ordinate with Customers for New Shipment Documents & Checking of E-Mails Meticulously every 2 Hours for Copy Documents received from Customers. 2 Once Copy Documents received from Customers and the same to check thoroughly on the same day and if any more documents required for clearance a request mail has to send to customer on the same day. 3 Forward the Copy Documents received from Customers to CHA Team immediately on the same day of receipt of Documents. 4 CFS Nomination request has to send to Shipping Lines through Mail or ODEX on the same day of receipt of Documents. 5 Update the Copy Documents in DSR (Daily Status Report). 6 DSR (Daily Status Report) has to send to Customers on Daily Basis every day evening or next day Morning on or before 10:30 a.m. 7 Track the Shipments in Shipping Line Website on Daily Basis and to update in DSR. 8 Send Mail to CHA Team requesting for B/E Check List 4 Days in Advance. 9 Check and Approve the B/E Check List and also get Customer Confirmation 3 Days in Advance and inform to CHA Team to file the B/E immediately once IGM filed by the Shipping Line or to File Advance B/E before IGM. 10 Check the B/E Check List meticulously such as Importer IEC Number, Name and Address, IEC Branch Code, GST Number, AD Code, Product Name, Quantity, B/L Number, B/L Date, No.of Packages, Duty Structure, ADD Notification, Customs Duty Notification & Sl.#, FTA Notification & Sl.#, RODTEP / ROSCL / Advance License, IGCR, SIMS Cert, PIMS Cert, EPR Cert, BIS etc. 11 After Checking of B/E Check List. Approval has to give 3 Days before vessel arrival. 12 Sending of B/E to Customer for making Duty Payment on the same day of receipt of B/E from CHA Division. 13 Follow-up for Duty Payment with Customers. 14 Tracking of Container Movement in Port Website. 15 If any Query raised by Customs Officer to be informed to Customers through mail immediately on the same day and collect the Query reply Documents from Pon Pure Sourcing Team immediately. 16 Once OOC Done, Plan for Delivery immediately and speak to the Transporter for Vehicle Placement. 17 Fund Request has to send to Pon Pure Logistics Accounts Team through mail on the same day of Trailer / Truck Placement. 18 E-Way Bill request has to send to Customer for Preparing E-Way Bill. 19 E-Way Bill has to send to Transporter & CHA Field Staff through E-Mail to handover the same to Driver alongwith Bill of Entry, Import Invoice, Bill of Lading / Airway Bill and COA. 20 Dispatch Details has to send to Custeomer through mail / Whats App such as Trailer / Truck Number, Driver Contact Number alongwith Clearance & Transport Charges. 21 Follow-up with Driver till it reaches to Customer Factory / Warehouse or Customer Factory. 22 Follow-up with Transporter for Empty Container Feedback and Transport Bill to handover to us within 5 Working Days from the Date of Despatch.
