Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Understand the need and participates to the project/study input definition,
• Lead studies and validations of new concepts/products for the component he works on
• Participates to manufacturing Process studies associated,
• Realizes the definition folder of the parts/components designed, in accordance with manufacturing teams,
• Participates to risk failure analysis(DFMEA) and to the building of the design validation plan, realizes validation tests demands and ensure about tests DVP&R follow up, Participates to the PFMEA,
• He should highlight main knowledge gaps and proposes some tests to lower the risk,
• Realizes/set up the sizing calculations on the parts/components and FEA calculations,
• He participates to the comparison between the different concepts in terms of Design,Risk,Quality and Cost,
• Able to communicate internally of externally with a customer /supplier,
• Knowledge of Mockup/prototype/serial parts realization in connection with mockup and manufacturing teams,
• Graduate Engineer from Reputed institutions with background of design software studies,
• Animate skills on GD&T and workflow of Design model of product development,
• Supporting role on all local Product / Design Project activities with local DIP organization,
• Proper reporting of Time sheet management towards workload balancing & effectiveness.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum 3- 5 years of experience in Mechanical design with familiar knowledge on Creo software (Preferred)&PLM software and Experience in other softwares like Solid works and Catia but we need to use CREO on day to day basis,
• Very good in communication in English is Mandatory as international work environment, attitude to work with cross culture teams and team work within the team,
• Good exposure on Office 360 business applications emails, chats and meetings forums.
• Capable on willingness to work effectively both onsite as well as Work from home culture without any hesitations.
• Needs to demonstrate as a good learner of all basic Design needs towards future endeavors.
• Spontaneous reaction on all related queries as on when its needed by Design Manager.
