Maintenance Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Directs installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of all equipment, buildings if needed for continuity of manufacturing operations and safety of plant personnel. Supervises maintenance or skilled employees on multiple shifts to perform service functions within established timing, quality, and cost standards. Emphasis is on highly skilled operations, such as precision machining, tool and production, assembly, and testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. Assists subordinates in problem solving, machine/building maintainability and availability improvement. Typically requires a high level of technical knowledge to assist subordinates with troubleshooting and problem resolution.
