Quality Systems Analyst

Role & responsibilities

• Monitoring, analyzing and reporting of the performance and effectiveness of the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Using analytical skills, to identify key issues and trends impacting on the risk level of the organization and escalate to the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk directly of any adverse trend involving high risk
• Providing quality reports to management on a weekly and monthly basis as specified in the QMS and as otherwise directed by the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk
• Producing data for inclusion in SQAG and SQRB reports with appropriate commentary on trends, including analysis of flight data management reports.
• Before the end of each year, conducting an evaluation of investigation findings, assessment outcomes and audit findings to assist in validating the future risk based audit schedule.
• Developing and maintaining customized reports in the Quality Database against identified needs.
• Providing trend advice to various management forums as requested by the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk, including a quarterly analysis of Logged for Stats data.
• Monitor the audit schedule, ensuring that the requirements specified in the risk-based audit program are achieved.
• Conducting Audits as a Lead Auditor as allocated in the audit schedule.
• Escalating to the General Manager Safety, Aviation Security & Risk directly of any deficiencies in the QMS which affect, or may affect, the safety of aircraft, clients or staff, or the achievement of corporate objective

Preferred candidate profile

• Lead Auditor Certificate
• Safety Investigator Certificate*
• Formal qualification in analytics*
• Management System Training Level 3*
• 5 years of experience in an aviation in an organizational role
• 3 Years of experience within an SMS or QMS
• Relevant tertiary qualification of a Diploma or above
• Analytical Skills in Analyzing data
• IT competency in using and developing customize reports through databases and quality software platforms
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques relevant to Quality and Safety reporting (Excel, Databases, Specialize software)
