We are looking to develop and train a core group of Project Information Managers who think at a strategic level and take an end-to-end view of a project delivery across the full lifecycle. Within this core group, you will provide leadership and technical direction on an integrated approach to data and information management to the Project leadership team.
The Digital Strategy will transform the way we design, construct and deliver high technology projects for our clients. We are developing a highly connected workforce with fast and reliable access to data that will enable us to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions to our clients. Its an exciting journey and we want you to be part of it.
The successful applicants will work within the Digital team and be responsible for deploying the Digital enabled Project Delivery (DePD) procedures and Ways of Working underpinning Lean Delivery.
The roles will be based in either our Cork or Dublin Operations.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the PM Group DeLPD strategy methodology at a project level
- maintain the Project Data Portal, for data visualisation and usage by project teams to include the creation of project data dashboards and reports.
- Liaise with Project Information Manager and stakeholders to coordinate and configure project data.
- Support departments and projects via data analytics (Power BI and other tools) .
- Be part of pilot initiatives ( Develop, design, and analyze data architecture and data warehouses ).
- Write technical documents on database content.
- Enhance data-related processes through automation. Regularly review and update current workflows for efficiency.
- Be able to but not a requirement to write complex DAX queries to perform data modeling
- , Access and SQL to integrate different sources into Structured Data base
- Maintain data ethics and create GDPR compliant reports by creating Admin, Managerial and User specific roles using Row level security
Qualifications

- Degree in Engineering/ Architecture, Construction or Computer Science related course
- +3 years relevant project delivery experience an advantage
- visualization using tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python Microsoft Access, Oracle, SQL, etc.
- Demonstrated capability expertise in the use/manipulation of databases and spreadsheets.
- Excellent organisational , collaborative and people skills
- Experience of projects information requirements.
- Digital era mindset with data centric approach to problem solving.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong training and mentoring skills. Disruptive to the industry but not the team.
- Strong work ethic, self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook.
