Agricultural Portfolio Manager

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Agricultural Portfolio Manager to lead our efforts in supporting farmers with the adoption of organic and regenerative agriculture practices. The selected candidate will manage a team of agronomists and be responsible for overseeing our agricultural portfolio across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:

   •       Manage and support the implementation of organic and regenerative farming practices in collaboration with small farmers and FPOs.

   •       Lead and supervise a team of agronomists to provide crop management advisory and technical support. 

   •       Develop and execute strategies for improving farm productivity, sustainability, and market access.

   •       Coordinate with farmers to ensure proper implementation of organic practices, monitoring progress, and resolving challenges.

   •       Establish and maintain strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, and other stakeholders.

   •       Travel extensively to rural areas to provide on-ground support and monitor project outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

   •       Educational Background: Degree in Agricultural Sciences or related field.

   •       Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in agronomy or a relevant field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

   •       Skills: In-depth knowledge of organic and regenerative agriculture practices, crop management, and farmer capacity-building.

   •       Proven ability to manage and lead field teams effectively.

   •       Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

   •       Passion for sustainable agriculture and rural development.

Additional Requirements:

   •       Age: Below 35 years.

   •       Willingness to travel extensively to rural areas.

   •       Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
