The role involves analyzing and managing client investment portfolios, working collaboratively with wealth advisors, investment teams and clients to develop and implement investment strategies that align with the clients financial goals and risk tolerance.
Roles and responsibilities
Analyzing client investment portfolios including keeping track of portfolio performance, risk assessment and identifying areas to maximize client s financial goals and objectives.
Assisting Relationship Managers in managing client relationships, including dealing with the family office staff of the clients, assisting investment team with client deliverables, setting up meetings/ calls with clients, third party product manufacturers etc.
Working closely with the Advisory team to understand and disseminate the Advisory put out by the team for portfolio management across all asset classes. Work collaboratively with Products & Research team to discuss investment ideas, client feedback.
Liaisoning with various internal departments involved in managing client portfolios/ relationships.
Managing and meeting client expectations and objectives as described in the engagement letter and scope of services.
Identifying and expanding the scope of work of the relationship based on clients needs.
Providing regular reports on client portfolio, any other deliverable based on need. Synthesizing results of analyses into customized, audience-appropriate reports and presentation materials.
Providing solutions to clients beyond investments and wealth management, in areas such as, Philanthropy, Succession Planning including Trust and estate planning, family constitution, mentoring the next generation, providing education roadmaps, designing and implementation of stand operation procedures at the client s office, recruiting talent for the client family office, etc.
Actively learning continuously, staying abreast of industry developments, market trends, participating in special projects and strategic department initiatives.
