Plansee - Head - Quality Assurance (15-17 yrs)

Job Description / Responsibilities:

- Lead the team of QC, QA & QMS for Machined components, formed components, Engineering or PLC product.

- Accountable for inspecting with a team of Inspection Engineers for timely & accurate inspections.

- Organize & monitor quality to ensure that output & quality targets are achieved.

- Knowledge and handles all the QM tools, SQC, ISO standards as required.

- Pivotal in quality assurance of various incoming raw materials, mechanical machined & fabricated components by approvals & inspections at supplier's end-QAP review & approvals.

- Pivotal in the implementation of ISO 9001, 14001 standards & updating various Projects Quality Systems as per ISO requirements

- Formation & Implementation of Quality Objectives & all Quality related documents as per Customer requirements.

- Oversee the overall Calibration Activities.

- Oversee Customer Complaint Handling, Corrective Actions, 8D Report & Field failure analysis Administer Customer complaints- investigation, warranty analysis & provide preventive actions

- Responsible for implementing mechanism & different parameters for capturing Cost of Quality, "5S" implementation.

- Responsible in implementing various systems at supplier's end like SPC, QA plans, MSA, FMEA, KAIZEN, making Quality Circles, 5'S implementation and liaising with third parties for inspections

Desired profile of the candidate:

- A bachelor's/master's degree in engineering/ or equivalent combination of directly related experience and education.

- Should have 15+ years of experience in quality

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience of using SAP R/3 is preferred.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as effective interaction at all levels and across diverse cultures.

- High degree of leadership, organization and time management skills, and should have multitasking ability.

- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top & middle level managers, and lower-level personnel from shop floor.

- Ability to study in-depth & analyses in a systematic way

- Implement and act in accordance with the organizations - Code of Conduct and Security policies and protect assets from unauthorized access
