Position Title: Event Sales Manager Weddings
Location: Pitampura
Department: Sales & Events
Reports To: Director


Position Overview

The Event Sales Manager Weddings is responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of wedding and social event packages, creating memorable experiences for clients. This role involves building strong client relationships, managing event details, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and excellent sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with prospective wedding clients through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals for the wedding segment.
  • Conduct site visits and presentations to showcase venue capabilities, services, and value propositions.
  • Prepare customized proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals with clients while ensuring profitability.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding clients from inquiry to post-event follow-up.
  • Understand and interpret client needs and preferences to create personalized wedding packages.
  • Build trust and rapport through consistent communication and exceptional service.

Event Coordination

  • Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure all client requirements are communicated and executed seamlessly.
  • Oversee event timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the planning or execution phases.

Collaboration & Internal Communication

  • Work closely with catering, operations, and vendor teams to align on event logistics and execution.
  • Attend weekly sales and event meetings to provide updates on bookings, pipeline, and client feedback.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Partner with the marketing team to promote the venue and wedding services through digital campaigns, social media, and bridal expos.
  • Stay updated on wedding industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in event sales, preferably with a focus on weddings or social events.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficient in event management software and CRM platforms.
  • Passion for creating exceptional client experiences.
