Job Description
The job holder will be responsible for the implementation of project under the thematic area Safety for Girls and Child Protection (GBV) in close coordination with Program Coordinator/ State Lead.
Execute activities in field with quality in proposed timeline and provide supportive supervision to LLMs.
Assist Legal Literacy Volunteers (LLVs) in the Identification of Legal Literacy Mitras (Agents of Change) and the establishment of legal Literacy Circles in the community.
Keeping track of the Implementation of project activities such as legal literacy sessions/orientation/training of LLMs, and other stakeholders in target locations.
Establish and maintain relationships with local police stations and legal aid organizations. Assist LLVs in helping survivors file complaints with law enforcement agencies.
Provide programmatic and thematic support to Legal Literacy Volunteers when required.
Document cases of violence or abuse reported by survivors and collect necessary information for legal proceedings.
Collect data on the number of cases handled, outcomes achieved, and challenges faced. Prepare regular reports on project activities and impact and Share insights and recommendations with the program coordinator.
Ensure timely utilization of funds as per defined project timelines.
Maintain and update MIS/project tracker.
Preparation and submission of activity and project reports as per stipulated timelines.
Documentation of case studies and best practices.
Support Program Coordinator/State Lead in preparation of project reports and documents.
Adherence to all Plan India s Policies during program implementation.
Provide any other support required by the line manager and as per the requirements of the organisation.
EDUCATION EXPERIENCE
Bachelor s in subjects like sociology, gender studies, social work, legal studies etc. or any other relevant field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience of working in Gender-based violence thematic area.
Proficient in local language and willingness to travel.
Experience in usage of computer/tablets for data collection and basic report preparation.
Passionate to work with children, women and protecting Child Rights.
