What a typical day looks like:
- Ability to manage incidents to completion and appropriately document the incident for future reference and closure of the feedback loop to the consumer.
- Experience of problem analysis and resolution.
- webMethods based enterprise integration platform architecture and design.
- webMethods based integration solutions and platform support for large scale environments.
- Building and automating system health checks and housekeeping tasks.
- Troubleshooting system bottlenecks and performance tuning. Handling thread dumps, log analysis.
- Working with IBM/SoftwareAG technical services team on service requests.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Any Bachelor or Master degree.
- Min 2-5Yrs of experience in WebMethods Administration.
- Ability to manage incidents to completion and appropriately document the incident for future reference and closure of the feedback loop to the consumer.
- Experience of problem analysis and resolution.
- webMethods based enterprise integration platform architecture and design.
- webMethods based integration solutions and platform support for large scale environments.
- High Availability Setup and Administration, System/Platform Administration, wM Upgrade and Migration, System optimization and capacity planning, Maintenance/Outage activities, Backup Recovery Activities.
- Building and automating system health checks and housekeeping tasks.
- Troubleshooting system bottlenecks and performance tuning, Handling thread dumps, log analysis.
- Working with IBM/SoftwareAG technical services team on service requests.
- Building the procedures and automated tools (scripts, programs etc.,) to support system readiness and health.
- Basic Unix shell scripting and LDAP.
- Using various Communication Protocols (HTTP/S, FTP etc.,).
- Configuring Clusters, JMS, JDBC, and auto-deployment.
- Using Web Security, PKI, SSL Certificates.
- Working knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, firewalls, Load Balancers and how those components interact.
- Working in on high volume systems in a multi-site, DR, HA environment.
- MySQL DB knowledge
- Working enterprise-wide customers and meeting customer needs.
- Understanding of RosettaNet, EDIFACT, X12 ANCII, EDI.
- Testing, Troubleshooting and Deployment of webMethods services, Design, Development.
- Windows, Office, FTP / SFTP, SOAPUI, Wireshark, Putty, webMethods or similar middleware.
- Mulesoft knowledge and experience.
- Basics of Programming, scripting. Any development contribution to Open source organizations will be good to have.
- Open to learning new skills. Additional certifications or MOOCs completions outside of college curriculum will be good to have.
- Desirable experience with monitoring/observability solutions, preferably Elasticsearch, as well as with incident response solutions, like Service Now.
- Experience automating infrastructure and configuration using available tools
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or another provider.
- Experience working with highly available, distributed systems and services in a hybrid cloud environment
- Rotational shifts (7am-4pm 2pm-11pm).
