Job Description
- Operate and monitor equipment for the production of Monosulfiram , Mebeverine , and FCI products.
- Execute batch processes including mixing, filtration, crystallization, drying, and milling, ensuring all steps are completed per approved protocols.
- Prepare and handle raw materials, intermediates, and chemicals for production runs, ensuring correct quantities and quality.
- Monitor process parameters (temperature, pressure, pH, concentration, etc.) during the production of pharmaceutical compounds to ensure that product quality meets established standards.
- Perform routine checks and adjustments to ensure smooth operation and adherence to production timelines and specifications.
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all production activities.
- Ensure the highest standards of product quality, ensuring that each batch meets the required specifications for Monosulfiram , Mebeverine , and FCI products.
- Assist in sampling for in-process testing and documentation of product quality.
- Participate in inspections, audits, and training to maintain compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to prevent accidents and ensure safe handling of chemicals and solvents used in production.
- Participate in safety drills and respond quickly to any hazardous situations, such as chemical spills or equipment malfunctions.
- Monitor and report any deviations from safety standards to supervisors and suggest improvements.
- Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and inventory records in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
- Document all relevant production data, including process conditions, yields, and any deviations, for review by supervisors and QA teams.
- Prepare reports on production progress, yield, and quality parameters as required by management.
- Collaborate with production, quality control, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations and timely troubleshooting.
- Participate in shift handover meetings to ensure continuity and effective communication between shifts.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical production environment, preferably with experience in the production of Monosulfiram , Mebeverine , or other API products.
- Familiarity with chemical reactions, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, and equipment used in API production.
- Understanding of chemical processes and equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical compounds.
- Knowledge of GMP, safety regulations, and industry standards related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Ability to operate and maintain production equipment including reactors, mixers, filters, and drying systems.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends or on-call as required, to meet production schedules.
The individual will work closely with representatives from all departments to lead the implementation and delivery of the sales plan in the assigned geography to support short-term and long-term growth strategy of the API Generics business.
Responsible for generating new business from new customers and existing accounts through a high level of customer contact including frequent direct customer visits, virtual meetings and extensive networking activities
Demonstrate strategic business awareness of the market and customers in order to differentiate our business from the competition
Effectively promote current technical capabilities and emerging / new technologies as they become available to facilitate generation and closing of new business opportunities
Identify sales opportunities and establish relationships with existing customers to generate future sales, avenues for cross selling and repeat business. Develop and implement strategic plans for key accounts in assigned territory
Contact new accounts and leverage network to map opportunities
Prepare and deliver client proposals in collaboration with Program Managers. Negotiate agreements of sale to close accounts and secure long-term agreements
Interface with supply planning/production functions and export logistics/shipping team to ensure dispatch as per customer time-lines and liaise with regulatory team to meet statutory requirements
Participate in strategy and annual planning meetings. Report out on sales performance and funnel. Develop forecast, budget and track performance
Retain, expand and strengthen client relationships by ensuring high-quality customer service and issue resolution
Manage sales activities on the SalesForce.com platform
