Role & responsibilities
Drafting, Reviewing and Negotiating commercial agreements, legal documents, and other terms to safeguard companys interests. • Interpret contracts and advise business unit on contractual responsibilities. • Responsible for legal compliance from business (manufacturing, marketing and distribution) perspective after taking into account applicable laws and regulations. • Provide quality advice and support to the business on matter pertaining to Business Ethics and Compliance, by way of training, advice and communication. • Anticipate, Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risks, develops / implements corrective action plans for resolutions of problematic issues and provides general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future. Develop legal strategies and solutions. • Advising the Marketing and Regulatory functions on product labelling, marketing and ethical promotion. Monitoring the Indian legal environment and providing regular updates to the leadership team on relevant legal / regulatory changes. • Knowledge of Drugs and Cosmetics, Legal Metrology, FSSAI, Consumer Protections Laws. • Support business in recovery matters including filing of civil recovery and complaints under Negotiable Instruments Act. • Effective stakeholder management and prompt business support
Preferred candidate profile
Excellent command over written and verbal communication skills • Experience and knowledge of drafting legal agreements • Ability to multi-task, stay organized and manage time • Strong presentation and negotiation skills - able to influence and persuade in decision making processes both internally and externally • Identify, evaluate and address risks associated with products, artwork, advertising materials, agreements etc. • Should take ownership of all tasks and activities • Have a flexible approach towards working • Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively with personnel at many different levels throughout the Company and with our customers and other business partner
Experience: Around 5 years of experience as lawyer in a Pharmaceutical / Healthcare / Lifesciences / OTC / FMCG organization or a manufacturing organization.
Qualification: Indian Law Graduate (full-time 3 year to 5 year) from a reputed institute
