Legal Manager ( Retail Malls)

Job Description:

You will be responsible for ensuring effective governance and compliance within the company. This role involves managing all documentation, agreements for airports and other retail properties, trademarks and other legal work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all bids, security clearances and other compliances for our airport stores.
• Liaison with government officials for licenses and other documents
• To read through all legal agreements of the company.
• Coordinate with in-house legal team, business development team and company lawyers.
• Coordinate mall teams and airport teams, business development head, auditors, finance and other in-house teams.
• Review and manage agreements for rent, purchases and partnerships, across retail, airports and other departments.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on land purchase transactions, registrations of lands, etc.
• Work closely with the head of business development to ensure all payments for malls are done as per the agreement clauses.
• Manage and respond to customer complaints and legal notices, liaising with legal counsel as needed.
• Renew and manage international and domestic trademarks.

Work with trademark consultants on renewals, oppositions, and case-specific matters.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• LLB, LLM, ICSI
• Proven experience in managing agreements, trademarks, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Minimum experience in corporate sector legal department or experience in a law firm
• Must be detail oriented, organized and thorough in work.
• Good English and local language skills. Hindi added advantage but not a necessity.
