• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of utility equipment, including pumps, cooling towers, compressors, chillers, Nitrogen, TCU etc.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment reliability.
• Ensure all standby equipment is operational and ready for use.
• Promptly troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Develop and execute maintenance plans, coordinating activities within the department.
• Manage tool requirements, spare parts inventory, and team assignments.
• Create shift schedules and plan for corrective actions and special projects.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols, ensuring adherence to all recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory agencies and bodies.
• Handle breakdowns of all utility equipment, including compressors, air dryers, hot water generators, Nitrogen Plant, Chilled water system, Brine Plant (Ammonia, R-410, R-134a, R-407 etc. )
• Analyze breakdowns and preventive maintenance activities for all utility-related equipment.
• Monitor and control daily maintenance activities, updating records of spare parts consumption.
• Prepare cost estimations for spare parts and plan for critical spares through Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
• Monitor and control resource conservation activities and manage the revenue budget.
• Participate in initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) to drive continuous improvement.
• Capable to handle Quality, safety, and regulatory audit as front liner condition.
• Stay updated with ISO standards (e. g. , ISO 14000, 45001) and ensure compliance.
• Contribute to energy conservation initiatives and the implementation of energy-efficient equipment.
