Senior Executive-Engineering

Job Overview:

An instrument engineer with experience in the pharmaceutical sector will manage, maintain and ensure the accuracy, reliability and compliance of instrument and control system. They play a critical role in maintaining GMP standards and aligning equipment with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular calibration and preventive maintenance of all instruments like pressure, temp, flow and level sensors etc.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain calibration records to meet GMP and regulatory standards.
• Control system management: Support and optimize PLC, SCADA, DCS, BMS system. Collaborate with IT and automation teams for software upgrades.
• Compliance and documentation: Maintain all calibration and maintenance documentations as per GMP and other regulatory standards. Develop and maintain SOP s for instrumentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Project Management and Commissioning: Assist in commissioning of new instruments and control system. Collaborate with vendors and engineering team on new installation and equipment upgrade.
• Participate in CAPA. RA for instrument related issues.
• Experience with data integrity and electronic record management
• Knowledge of equipment/instrument validation processes.
