JOB OVERVIEW: Manager - SAP Support Special Projects, MM
The role of SAP MM consultant is to work with the business users to understand their requirements, identify gaps in the current system, and design and implement solutions to meet those requirements. Basically, responsible for helping clients to optimize their procurement and inventory management processes using SAP MM functionality.
We need an experienced SAP MM consultant who has experience in SAP WM / EWM will be an added advantage.
Cross-functional module knowledge required to address business or systems issues and integration with SAP FICO, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM
Must have good understanding of business processes best practices
Must have ability to interact with multiple business stake holder and Functional team (IT) and multi-tasking skill.
CRITICAL QUALITIES:
Certification in SAP ECC or S/4 Hana (MM) preferred
Must have strong Oral, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
Will go an extra mile for enhancing user experience
Excellent Knowledge of SAP MM
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Good knowledge about MM module in SAP and should also have configuration experience in MM module in ECC S/4 HANA
2. Good knowledge of Integration of MM with other SAP modules including FICO, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM modules
3. Must have knowledge on GST impact, good understanding of business processes best practices
4. Responsible for providing SAP Support / Enhancements in MM module
5. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that will be cost effective and meet user requirements
6. Plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates the specifications for systems to meet business requirements
7. Coordination for end-user training documentation and train end users as and when required
8. Staying up to date with Trends and Innovations happening in MM module
9. Continually review the SAP MM module and identify areas for improvement
10. Knowledge on project management including: coordinating, organizing, planning and scheduling, communicating, documentation, monitoring Business Practice, processes and scenarios
