Analytical Development

Lead and Perform the analytical method development and validation for APIs, specialty chemicals, and raw materials using techniques like HPLC, GC etc
Independently execute experimental plans, interpret data, and propose solutions to technical challenges in collaboration with managers.
Support routine analysis and ensure the generation, interpretation, and review of experimental data to meet project timelines.
Apply advanced analytical chemistry techniques to develop robust testing methods for new products.

Technology Transfer

Provide on-site or remote support for analytical method transfer, including document review, gap analysis, and coordination between sending and receiving sites.
Prepare and review analytical method transfer documents (e.g., assessment reports, transfer plans, protocols, and stability data).
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure smooth transfer execution.
Business and Plant Support
Troubleshoot and resolve research and analytical issues promptly.

Compliance and Lab Administration

Maintain and manage research data, ensure adherence to documentation standards, and implement SOPs in the R&D lab.
Oversee lab operations, including reagent and column inventory management, instrument calibration, and IQ/OQ/PQ documentation.
Coordinate lab housekeeping and renewal of annual maintenance contracts for analytical instruments.

Team and EHS Management

Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and fostering competency development within the team

Key Competencies:

Technical & Professional Knowledge

Strong expertise in analytical chemistry and industrial experience with analytical techniques.
Proficient in operating instruments like HPLC, GC, GC-HS, GCMS and LCMS, with experience in data analysis and interpretation (HPLC, GC, NMR, mass spectra)
Skilled in analytical method development, validation, and transfer in compliance with ICH guidelines, GLP, and GMP standards.
Well versed with ICH, WHO and various guidelines.
Handled plant, regulatory, and QA-related analytical queries, including impurity standards, method improvements, and development.
Familiarity with plant operations, quality systems, and troubleshooting analytical challenges.
E & L experience will be an added advantage.

Data Analysis and Reporting

Ability to interpret complex data, draw actionable conclusions, and effectively communicate results.
Proficient in technical writing, including preparation of analytical documents and reports.

Digital and Technical Tools

Competent in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet-based research tools
Knowledge of SAP and sourcing tools for effective workflow and resource management.
