Job Overview:

- To ensure desired quality of pharma formulations and nutritional products manufactured with adequate resources and effective plant operation of all departments To coordination with Corporate office and other related Departments like QA HR Finance Legal Supply Chain sales marketing so that day to day activities are not hampered Legal compliances proper utilization of all adequate resources available at Mahad plant in consultation with all HODs.

- To finalize financial budgeting with respect to Manpower, Resources, External Training, Wages of Union Workers other departmental needs for the effective operation of Mahad Plant To carry out performance review and appraisals of all HODs at Mahad To guide all Production HODs to meet the monthly production requirement in time with proper utilization of available resources.

Reporting Structure:

- Will report to Executive Vice President.

- Team size: 9 direct , overall team size 400 to 500.

Experience:

- Around 20 years experience in manufacturing , should have spent considerable time handling and heading site for nutraceutical / nutrition products.

- Strong Communication skills and business acumen.

- Change management exposure, adaptable to the changing business needs.

- Deep technical understanding (audit, overall manufacturing process including engineering and supply chain).

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

- Organizational Technical responsibilities of Mahad Plant including Customer Contract Manufacturing.

- Selection of competent persons for the effective operation of all activity at Mahad Plant.

- To ensure the operation of Plant in compliance with other regulations on industrial safety,.

- Environmental Protection other factory regulations including labor act.

- To ensure that all critical equipment and utilities that are used to manufacture the product are suitable for effective operating range are under Qualified status, calibrated and are under routine preventive maintenance.

- To co ordinate with MIDC Government for the arrangement of all utilities like electricity, Water, Telephone, Telegram, Postal Effluent treatment activity for effective working of Mahad Plant.

- To authorized document and implement Quality Management System, and to ensure effective implementation, monitoring and control of Quality Management System at Manufacturing, Packing, Testing and Ware Housing activities with respect to laid down procedures, systems and identify areas for improvement.

- To guide each HOD for control and approval of Deviations, change controls, Out of Specifications at all stages of storage, dispensing, manufacturing, packing, testing and distribution.

- To ensure that the processes used for testing and manufacturing the products are validated and the products are stable throughout the shelf life of the product.

- To ensure proper investigations guide respective HOD during Market Customer Regulatory complaint by root cause analysis, corrective action, preventive action and ensure effective implementation of CAPA Initiatives, close the complaints, send responses to the complainant, and verify effectiveness of CAPA periodically.

- To ensure compliance to the Regulatory, Customer, Legal requirements, face audits and comply non conformities observed during the audits.

- To ensure proper Liasoning with Regulatory authority for new product permissions, licenses and renewals, certificates and approvals.

- To ensure compliance to the current requirements of QMS,IMS EMS+OHSAS), D&C Act, PFA Act, SQF, WHO GMP, UNICEF and other customer, Regulatory Requirements and Corporate Guidelines.

- To ensure effective implementation of Self Inspections, Quality Audits and ensure compliance to the audit observations of manufacturing, testing, warehousing facility and Quality and Food Safety Management System.

- To ensure proper monitoring of Stability of products, control sample storage and compilation of Analytical reports and take appropriate action in case of failures.

- To ensure the review of APRs of products and take appropriate actions in case of deviations, Validations as per VMP, SOPs as per current requirements, SMF, Approved Vendors, price list and other relevant documents as per Quality Management System.

- To authorize recommend to Recall Approving Authority on Product Recall, review and disposition of recalled and returned goods depending up on the nature of severity on product quality.

- The authorization of written procedures and other documents, including amendments.

- To ensure the compliance of requirements of Customers Third Party Trade Mark Owner are completed within stipulated time frame.

- To guide Plant HR department for any arrangement of External Training programmed Medical Health Check Up.

- To ensure proper utilization of Man, Machine and Material for the improvement in Productivity, Training, Yield Cost Reduction.

- To ensure guide all HODs for proper maintenance of Building with cleanliness, Proper Segregation Housekeeping, Quality of the Product, WIP Machines, Walls, Flooring, Ceiling, Windows, Scrap, Utilities and communicate with the Engg Dept for repairing or any Up gradation if required.

- Responsible for Producing Quality Products Maintaining Quality.
