- Managing the CEO's schedule: Prioritizing and arranging meetings, travel, and accommodation
- Handling correspondence and phone calls: Acting as the first point of contact and dealing with all communication

- Maintaining confidentiality: Working with classified information and ensuring professionalism

- Anticipating needs: Proactively supporting the CEO and anticipating their needs
- Acting as a gatekeeper: Creating a bridge for communication between the CEO and staff
