Quality Head - Food & Beverage Production (9-12 yrs)

Job Description:

- We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Quality Head to oversee all aspects of food and beverage production at Urban Harvest.

- The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the food and beverage industry, with a deep understanding of compliance, regulations, and quality assurance processes.

- This role will involve ensuring end-to-end compliance across all production activities, managing teams, and travelling to the plants across India

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the quality assurance and compliance processes across all food and beverage production activities.

- Ensure adherence to all relevant laws and regulations related to food safety, quality standards, and production practices.

- Oversee end-to-end compliance in sourcing and production, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and safety.

- Implement and maintain best practices for food safety, quality control, and traceability.

- Manage quality audits, both internal and external, ensuring timely and effective resolution of any findings.

- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure teams adhere to food safety and quality standards.

- Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, ensuring continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and logistics to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

- Regularly travel across PAN India to oversee quality checks and audits at various production and sourcing locations.

Requirements:

- Minimum 9+ years of experience in food and beverage production, with a focus on quality assurance and compliance.

- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to food safety and quality.

- PAN India experience preferred, with the ability to travel frequently.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Proven experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve excellence in quality and compliance.

- Strong leadership qualities, with a proactive and go-getter attitude.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Extensive knowledge of food safety certifications and audit processes.
