Manager - Corporate Quality - Personal Care & Cosmetics (8-12 yrs)

We are currently looking for a Manager of Corporate Quality for the topmost Personal Care products and Cosmetics Conglomerate in India. The position is to be based in Kolkata.

Job Responsibilities

1. Coordination with the manufacturing on resolution of day to day quality related operation issues

2. Resolution of quality issues by coordinating with factories and other stakeholders ( PD Procurement Packaging Operations Supply Chain) - Acting as the SPOC for the factory quality managers with external coordinators for ensuring speedy and smooth resolution of issues

3. Ensuring implementation of points coming out of internal quarterly audit and also monthly PHC audits for the individual units

4. Ensuring setting up of quality control framework for the NPIs for the units

5. Ensuring conduction training for the factory quality personnel on subject matter areas

6. Ensuring Perfume Panel and Alcohol Panel certification across units

7. Ensuring Annual Mock Product Recall Activity

8. Coordinating with factory and external stakeholders for resolution of recurring quality issues by developing a proper review and monitoring mechanism

9. Leading the factories for the cost saving measures identification and implementation in and across factories for Quality Function

10. Developing and nurturing the quality culture through conduction of QPL across factories

11. Ensuring conduction of periodic R&R study for defined parameters across factories and LSTC

12. Leading automation and improvement projects for the quality function

13. Identification and implementation of measures to reduce COPQ across units

14. Implementation of good practices adopted in one unit to other units also

Core Competencies required for the Role

1. Domain experience of min 8 to 10 years in the FMCG quality function

2. Good technical and hands on knowledge of operation of instruments like GC HPLC UV Spectrophotometer, IR etc.

3. Good people management skill and capability to manage and implement quality practices in shop floor level

4. Well versed with quality tools like - Quality by Design , Conduction of DFMEA , experience in Quality Pillar of TPM

Salary : Around Rs. 25.0-32.0 LPA
