Node Js Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Node.js, MongoDB, and MySQL Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services, working on databases, and developing APIs for web and applications. You will cooperate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product managers to ensure smooth integration of the server-side logic with the user-facing elements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain APIs using Node.js for both internal and external use cases.
• Build and manage databases using MongoDB for document-based data storage and MySQL for relational data.
• Write efficient, scalable, and reusable code, ensuring optimal performance in large-scale systems.
• Collaborate with the front-end development team to ensure seamless integration of the front-end and back-end logic.
• Implement security and data protection strategies, including access control and encryption.
  Optimize the performance of database queries (both MongoDB and MySQL) and backend services.
• Design and maintain database schemas, queries, and indexes for both MongoDB and MySQL databases.
• Ensure system scalability by designing APIs and database architectures that can handle high volumes of traffic.
• Work with DevOps teams to deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot applications in production.
• Write unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions to team members.
• Maintain proper documentation of code and system architecture for future use and onboarding.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in backend development using Node.js (3+ years preferred).
• Strong expertise in MongoDB and MySQL, including database design, optimization, and query tuning.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and other communication protocols.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and modern frameworks (e.g., Express.js,fastify).
• Experience in database schema design for both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and the ability to design scalable, distributed systems.
• Experience in handling high-traffic applications with large data volumes.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)

Preferred Qualifications:

•   Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ and redis.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
