Elv Design Engineer

ELV (Middle East/ Japan/ Singapore ) 8 years and above experience

( Should be an expert in ELV design for the Middle East/ Japan/ Singapore region, the candidate should act as Project lead and to be provided training to Team members)

Job Responsibilities:

1. This candidate will handle calculations, create plans and details, interact with clients, and assist in training and developing junior or entry-level staff.

2. Perform detailed Various stages of design (Space planning, Concept, scheme, detailed design), drawings preparation, and Coordination with other disciplines, including Design reports.

3. Create Electrical design drawings, calculations, and details.

4. Perform project control tasks, including project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.

5. Manage multi-discipline design and construction projects.

6. Interact with other engineers, contractors, fabricators, and architects.

7. Communicate and transfer electrical designs and ideas to contract drawings.

8. Help identify design risks and assist with risk mitigation planning.

9. Able to independently evaluate EPC Contractor designs and make technically complex decisions/recommendations.

10. Provides technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleagues.

11. Communicates effectively at all organizational levels - peer, stakeholder, and management.

12. Leverages relationships across the organization to gather information and resolve issues

Electrical Engineer Requirements:

1. Comprehensive knowledge of Electrical/ ELV industry codes, regulations, and standards; advice on use and applicability.

2. Expert experience in Electrical engineering analysis and project management.

3. Advanced knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

4. Various stages of design (Space planning, Concept, tender, detailed design), drawings preparation, and Coordination with other disciplines, including Design reports.

5. HV, MV, and LV power systems, including Single-line diagram, Cable selection, and Breaker selection.

6. Space planning for LV & ELV rooms per codes/standards requirements.

7. Electrical Load distribution and demand load calculation

8. Voltage drop calculations (XL, Amtech, Etap, etc).

9. Lighting system, Lighting control system, Emergency Lighting system including schematics and calculations

10. Earthing Lightning protection systems, including schematics and calculations

11. Fire alarm and life safety systems

12. ELV, ICT, and Security systems (CCTV, Access, schematics, and calculations)

13. Specifications for LV & ELV

14. Experience with following projects,

• Airport.
• Data center
• Industrial.
• Warehouses.
• Utility Building.
• Office Buildings.
• Substations.
• Water plants

15. Detailed knowledge of technical principles in other related disciplines Process, Architecture, structural and Mechanical)

16. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

17. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

18. Excellent communication, both verbal and written.

Experience: Minimum 8 to 20 years.

Software Knowledge:

USA: Etap,Agi32, Visual lighting,Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks.

UK: Amtech Pro design, Dialux evo, Relux, Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks

India / Middle East/ Japan/ Singapore : Etap,Dialux evo, Revit, AutoCAD & Navisworks

Qualification: Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or Diploma Electrical and Electronics engineering with electrical and ELV engineering experience.
