Role & responsibilities

• Check hard copy and electronic versions of P&IDs, Verify P&ID Revision Control, Compare Symbols and Legends, Validate Asset Tagging and Equipment IDs, Confirm Pipeline and Flow Direction, Cross-Check with Field Assets (Optional)& Report Discrepancies and Request Updates
• Basic understanding of type and purpose of primary equipment by discipline ( ELE, INST, MECH
• Ability to lead missing asset Identification and records correction for all the assets under scope of the project.
• Confirm and validate Master Equipment List (MEL), Asset Tag Registers and SCE Lists from P&IDs, PFDs and single line drawings
• Build equipment Technical hierarchy according CMMS requirements
• Technical object preparation ,structuring and organizing master data related to assets, equipment, and maintenance processes

Some of the Technical object like

• preparation Functional Location, Equipment (EQ) , Bill of Material (BOM), Work Centers (WC) Maintenance Task List & Measuring Points & Counters

BOM (Bill of Materials):

• Managing the maintenance spare parts ordering and preparing all the documents with coordination of warehouse, purchasing and maintenance end user.
• Establish machinery Spare Parts (rotating, static, piping and fittings) Interchangeability Record , Classification & Standardization . Starting by recommended two years spare parts dossier prepared and provided by the contractor during construction.
• Provide by means of CMMS (Computerized Material Management System) the statistical report relevant to inventory transactions.

Spare Parts Data Package Review (SPDP):

• Analyse spare parts lists (SPILs), Bill of Materials (BOMs), & SPIR (Spare Parts Interchangeability record) and vendor documentation.
• Verify part descriptions, material specifications, and manufacturer details.
• Ensure correct categorization and classification of spare parts (MRO, consumables, critical spares, etc.).
• Identify duplicate, obsolete, or missing spare parts data and recommend corrective actions.

Familiarity with ISO 14224 Asset & Maintenance Data Collection for Reliability,

ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS)

ASTM standards, or industry-specific maintenance guidelines .
