Workday Extend consultants

About the role: As a Workday Extend Lead, you will have the opportunity to work in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure customers get the maximum value out of their Workday HCM investment. This role is responsible for architecting and implementing Workday Extend capabilities across the various Workday functional areas, whether independently, as a team member, or in a lead capacity. We need a self-starter with an entrepreneurial flair and a willingness to work with practice leadership you will help build the UST Workday practice.

Key Responsibilities: Consult and collaborate with business and technical teams about Extend design/use cases and ongoing maintenance. Lead Workday Extend development on assigned projects or for AMS engagements Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across the business using Extend Design and develop innovative solutions to business challenges leveraging Workday Extend technologies Support customers with existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production through incident management and application monitoring activities Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the systems Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution

Good understanding of security and data privacy standards, data governance and Extend app/Integration systems development standards and best practices. Train/support junior team member

Position requirements

Minimum 2+ years of experience in designing & developing custom apps using Workday Extend. Overall 5+ years in Workday ecosystem in consulting or customer lead roles. Ideally certified in Workday Extend and Integrations (Studio) Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively come across as a Workday expert and manage client expectations Able to work across one or more projects (deployment and AMS type projects). Strong understanding of Workday integrations and related technologies. This includes technical experience with different integration tools such as WD APIs, EIB, Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and Workday Cloud Connect Ability to work in a diverse, fast paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams
