Job Description: Senior Python Developer

• Work with the team to understand requirements and design and develop algorithms & engine rules using Python.
• Utilize BigQuery as the backend, leveraging both generic SQL/DB entities and BQ-specific operations.
• Write Bash/PowerShell scripts.
• Develop APIs using the Flask framework and implement data ingestion pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various upstream sources.
• Implement unit tests to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
• Analyze system issues and debug/track/resolve them effectively.

• 7+ years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code in mainstream Python.
• 7+ years of experience in writing PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
• 5+ years of experience in developing applications using web frameworks such as Flask.
• 5+ years of experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience in data handling, management, and ETL processes.
• 3+ years of experience with data extraction using API calls.
• 1+ year of experience with big data processing solutions using BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, and others.
• Proficiency in using source code control management systems like GitHub.
• Any experience with Angular is an added advantage.
• Any experience with Looker Studio is an added advantage.
