Site Reliability Engineer

UST is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a leading financial services organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in DevOps within a cloud (AWS) environment , excellent leadership skills, and strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Continuously refine AWS deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability, and security .
• Develop automation scripts for AWS services using AWS CLI / API, Terraform, Chef .
• Configure CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments using Jenkins, AWS CodeDeploy .
• Document and diagram deployment architectures, collaborating with Software Engineers and DevOps teams .
• Troubleshoot production issues using log analysis and debugging techniques .
• Promote a DevOps culture , fostering collaboration between technical and business teams.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps , AWS Administration, and Automation .
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AWS EKS .
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring, Spring Boot applications .
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Chef .
• Experience with Jenkins, Jenkins Pipeline for build and deployment automation.
• Strong AWS administration knowledge: EC2, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS, S3, IAM, ECS, CloudWatch .
• Experience with Docker Containers on ECS or Kubernetes .
• SQL experience with RDS-PostgreSQL or other DBMS .
• Knowledge of log aggregation tools such as ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) .
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language .
• Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer , Agile team experience.
