The IT Architect is responsible for providing single point of ownership to deliver a wide range of System Development and Reporting support for Finance and Treasury related applications. Key Skills/Experience: Ability to identify and suggest improvements for corporate accounting & finance by understanding operations, challenges, and external factors. Provide expert guidance on business requirements, design, realization, and support for all Finance and Treasury processes. Collaborate with Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, and other finance application teams to enhance operations. Define product requirements and use cases, assess system capabilities and customer needs, translate these into test conditions, and ensure successful integration of new features in customer projects. Work with the PMO team to facilitate program and project execution. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT to understand organizational structure, policies, and operations. IT Strategy and Process Capability Development Analyze finance application requirements and align their usage with business needs. Own finance applications and collaborate with business partners to create a strategic roadmap and ensure strong integrations. Regularly optimize the application landscape by retiring, replacing, or extending application usage. Maintain relationships with finance application vendors to stay updated on product lifecycles. Identify opportunities for business improvement through IT, develop business cases with cost/benefit analysis, and present these to business and IT leadership. Develop test cases and expected results based on application requirements. Review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with project standards. Experience using ServiceNow and best practices related to ticketing and change request processes. Experience working with end-users on issue resolution of low, medium, and complex problems. Knowledge and experience with the integration between multiple applications. People management skills; good relationships with business and IT stakeholders. Excellent presentation skills; good written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills; attention to detail. Other duties as assigned. Additional skills are a plus: Understanding of accounting/finance business processes. Strong process design skills; knows how to apply process analysis and design tools and techniques. Project management skills: ability to multi-task and keep all projects on schedule. Stakeholder management skills; excellent relationships with business stakeholders. Ensure compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and controls for Finance and Treasury applications. Solid understanding and experience with one or more structured software project lifecycle methodologies. Monitor and manage data integration feeds and processing activities and resolve issues in different environments. IV. RESPONSIBILITIES Staff Management: N/A Business Relationships Works as a part of the Finance and Treasury IT Team to provide guidance and improvements through use of relevant information technology. Gains an in-depth understanding of the business and IT strategies, initiatives, opportunities, and risks. Works closely with the business to understand business priorities and work streams. Deliver projects on-time and on-budget. Understands customers business processes and prioritizes or applies priorities to service desk tickets accordingly. Collaborate with other teams to ensure efficient operation of the companys end user computing environment. Liaise with third-party support and vendors. IT Strategy Understands Finance and Treasury business imperatives. Determines opportunities for business improvement using information technology and communicates these opportunities to corporate business and IT leadership. Be aware of and execute the Dana support processes and can effectively utilize those processes and people within it to solve the issues for internal customers, without creating major disruption within the organization. Program and Project Governance Consults on the planning of projects. Design layouts for the system and define data requirements to support design. Follow IT Service Desk procedures in general end user support, and documenting activities, customer issues, troubleshooting steps, resolution outcome, and time duration in the service desk tool. General IT Management Understanding of IT Strategy and Architecture general principles and techniques. Understanding of IT Program and Project Management as well as Application Development general principles and techniques. Understanding of IT Operations general principles and techniques, including a basic awareness of ITIL concepts.
