Lead I - DevOps Engineering

Senior Devops/ Ops Engineer - Azure platform As an Offshore Senior Devops / Ops Engineer, you will have opportunity to design pipelines in Gitlab and deploy, manage multitude of resources in Azure cloud. What you will do in your role: Work independently and able to deliver stories/ tasks on a two week Agile/sprint process. Developing GitLab pipelines that follows best practices and troubleshoot pipeline issues. Working with Technical Product Managers and Lead engineers to help create clear user stories for managing pipelines or Azure resources. Implementing best practices in managing Azure resources with less maintenance overhead. Supporting Production operations on a regular cadence. Collaborate with other devops (onsite/ offshore) engineers to define, design, and deploy new pipelines following T-Mobile devops guidelines. Analyze user stories and participating in sprint planning, scrums, demos, and retrospectives. Accountable for pipeline performance and issues. Fix security violations in Azure cloud based on violations listed in internal tool (Pacbot) Translate business and functional requirements into documented technical specifications. Perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for issues and document the findings for pipeline/ ops issues. Support, triage and troubleshoot differing environment issues (Staging, Pre-production, Production) as needed. Manage and update certificates and keys for the T-Mobile infrastructure as needed. Support bi-weekly T-Mobile deployment/releases and maintenance windows. Provide on call and after hours support as required for production/maintenance releases. The experience you ll bring: Curiosity in learning new Azure technologies to help enhance Tuesdays Cloud ecosystem. Minimum bachelor s degree in computer science or Similar degree. At least 5+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps / Gitlab DevOps. At least 4+ years of experience in Azure Cloud platform operations. At least 3+ years of experience on IaC like Bicep or Terraform. Good experience in working with Agile/Scrum teams and Agile development environments. Hands-on experience with PowerShell / Shell scripting. Good communication skills, team Oriented and can also work independently. Keen to take on challenges, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude towards collaboration with back-end teams. Good knowledge on Grafana, Argos, Splunk is an added advantage. Good knowledge on AKS, ACR and Docker is and added advantage.
