• Over 10 years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on Backup and Storage administration.
• Expertise in designing, administering, and implementing backup solutions using Hitachi, NetApp, Veritas NetBackup, and EMC Networker.
• Skilled in managing disk-based backup storage devices including Hitachi, NetApp, EMC Data Domain, and Symantec NetBackup appliances.
• Proficient in setting up duplication and replication through Storage lifecycle policies.
• Experienced in administering and troubleshooting EMC Storage Arrays such as VMAX, VNX, Isilon, and Clariion.
• Hands-on experience in managing Fabric Switches using CLI and Connectrix manager.
• Familiarity with NetApp SAN and NAS Technologies, including 7-mode and cluster mode systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving performance issues on filers using Core Dump and Perfstats.
• Ensures SAN infrastructure services are delivered consistently and in compliance with SLAs.
• Coordinates storage and backup infrastructure maintenance with vendors and customers, following best practices and SLAs.
• Manages SAN implementations with a focus on productivity, cost control, and data availability.
• Drafts processes and procedures for backup software and hardware troubleshooting guides.
• Experienced in conducting audits of backup and storage configurations to maintain service quality.
• Self-motivated and quick learner, adaptable to new technologies and third-party products.
• Team player with excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Expertise in Cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
